Anna LeValley

I greatly enjoy working one-on-one with children while helping to build their confidence and skills in reading and writing. I approach teaching with the Montessori philosophy of matching the needs of each child, and following their interests and skills in my planning. I have 5 years of experience with teaching reading, writing, and language arts ages 3-7 in a general education setting. I have tutoring experience at the fourth-grade level, and have completed several graduate-level courses in reading instruction at all elementary levels. I have 15 years of experience working with children ages one and a half to twelve, and have a Master’s degree in Montessori Education. I have an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Virginia.
