Having taken classes with competitors like Kaplan and The Princeton Review, I can definitively say that there is no SAT training program that is more ruthless, intense, and individualized than Vohra Method.
Though technically a group class, there is nothing about Vohra Method classes that is done as a group. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, each student works with a genuine, patient and caring instructor on meticulously-developed, in-house worksheets that precisely target his/her needs.
Initially skeptical as to how legitimate an online SAT training program could be, I didn’t really think that this would be worth it. However, the online workspace only enhances the experience. Students have a real human to talk to on the other side of the screen, and they also benefit from the educational innovations in technology that allow them to learn so much more in far less time.
Vohra Method’s team of encouraging and knowledgeable instructors will be by your side every step of the way so that you can not only dominate the SAT, but also build the stamina and confidence to conquer your education.

Throughout high school, I achieved mediocre grades and sub par standardized test scores. At the beginning of my senior year, my school basically told me it was mathematically impossible for me to get into any of the top schools that I had my eye on. My parents weren’t even sure that I would get into the state school that generally accepts the majority of the applicants from my high school.
As the admissions charts and calculators showed about a 0% chance of my acceptance to most of the schools I wanted to go to, I had two choices. I could write the same scared essay as everyone else or write essays in which it was inconceivable that anyone had written anything remotely similar.
I put all my energy into completing the Vohra Method’s college essay curriculum and following each college strategy step carefully. Not only did the curriculum transform my writing skills, but it also transformed the way I think about applications in general. Arvin always made sure to emphasize how the essay and application, not your grades and scores, are what actually get you admitted.
The most important thing I learned while working with Arvin and Chelsey was perseverance. This was an incredibly difficult process with the most intense training I had ever experienced. They let nothing slide and made sure each essay, along with all parts of my application, were flawless.
While most of my classmates with higher grades and scores than I received rejection after rejection, I got into every school that I applied to. It was worth all the hard work seeing the shock on my classmates, parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and (most satisfying) my siblings’ faces when I got into my dream school.

Math has always been a seemingly unconquerable obstacle for me, and even throughout elementary, middle, and now high school, I always dreaded going to math class.
After a while, I guess I just accepted the fact that it would never work out for me. Looking back, I think it was a combination of both a slightly defeatist mentality, bad experiences with teachers, and self-imposed pressures, but either way, realizing Id have to do well on an SAT/ACT math section in order to get into the college of my dreams, was terrifying -- to say the least.
For months, I studied SAT math constantly, and every time I took practice exams, the scores were always disappointing. And the worst part was, that I didnt even know what specific problem I could diagnose. It was incredibly stressful, especially since all the hard work from high school would go to waste without a good standardized test score.
A few months and another lacking SAT score later, my mom decided to put me in classes with Vohra Method, which I hesitantly accepted. I had no idea it would actually completely change my perspective towards math. I found myself looking forward to my classes with you, a stark difference from the dread I always felt going into anything math-related. I actually enjoyed doing the Vohra worksheets and practice papers, and through your patience and constant encouragement, I started to see a huge improvement in my math skills.
A huge reason for not only my ACT score of 35 but also my confidence in math, was your constant support and help throughout all the classes I took. Your help didnt just feel like tutoring, rather as someone who was actually rooting for me. For any student, knowing that someone has faith in you, helps cultivate faith in yourself.
I wanted to let you know that I received an Early Decision acceptance to my dream school, Duke University on December 12th. I am so, so, so excited and I cant wait! Without your help and the Vohra Method, I really dont think it wouldve been possible.

Arvin Vohra is the creator of the Vohra Method, and the founder of Arvin Vohra Education. His educational programs have transformed the lives of countless students, and he has inspired audiences nationwide through his speeches, books, and community outreach programs.

Arvin’s passion for educational innovation began while he was studying at the Landon School in Bethesda, MD. Frustrated by the limitations he perceived in standard education, he began to test the limits of a different type of approach. He learned algebra in a few weeks to advance a level in math, and even attended college courses as early as eighth grade. In high school, he received a score of 5 on 10 AP exams to become an AP National Scholar. For 6 of those exams, he did not take the corresponding AP class, and instead relied on intensive outside study. He was also a National Merit Finalist, with the highest SAT and PSAT scores in his graduating class. On the SAT, he received a score of 790 on both the math and verbal sections. He also received a perfect score of 800 on both the Math IIc and Chemistry SAT II tests. For his efforts he was awarded the Rensselaer Medal for Math and Science in his Junior year. During this time, Arvin worked actively as a tutor for younger students, most notably at the North Chevy Chase Elementary School.

Arvin attended Brown University, where his passion for educational innovation continued to grow. He worked as a tutor and teacher as part of the Wheeler School’s Aerie Program. At Wheeler, he designed accelerated and nontraditional curricula for students ranging from second to eighth grade. Later, he worked as a consultant for the Hamilton Institute for Learning Differences. After graduating from Brown University with a B.Sc. in mathematics and a B.A. in economics, he received perfect scores on both the GRE and the GMAT, finishing each test with well over an hour to spare. He also passed two actuarial exams in a single testing period while working as an actuary at GEICO.

His books include The Equation for Excellence: How to Make Your Child Excel at Math, and Lies, Damned Lies, and College Admissions
