R & R Tutoring
About
I love math. Since I learned my times tables at 5 years old I was hooked. I used to entertain the local deli owners at 8 years old by calculating the cost of the items l bought for my mom (including tax) in my head while they rang it up on the register.
I taught math at the high school level for 6 1/2 years. In college I worked in the math lab as a tutor. I graded papers in college (including in classes I was taking at the time because my professor liked how I graded). I did review session for finals even in classes I was taking. I also worked for 3 summers as a tutor in a college entrance program.
My strength is breaking down the components of a problem into steps that make it easier to repeat the process. I've worked with all levels of students so I feel confident I can help any student.
