About
I have always been good at math, and I love it as well. From kindergarten to my senior year of high school, I always took a progressively harder math. Being homeschooled most of my life allowed me to learn at my own speed and therefore under most topics well. In fact, I did not use a calculator until I was halfway through AB Calculus. Despite this, I have had much success in math.
Presently, I tutor English, History, Music, and Mathematics. Algebra 1 and 2 are what I teach best, but I'm not afraid of Geometry and basic Calculus. I've been doing this for about a year with much success. I am patient, friendly, and can explain things in many different ways!
I have lots of free time and love teaching!

How did you get started teaching?
I started out as a music teacher, which I greatly enjoyed. Then my peers started asking me for help with Mathematics and Language Arts, I did so gladly for free. Then people came to me asking for help in subjects as a job.

I have worked with students from the United States, South Korea, and Ghana.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who teaches in a way you can be engaged with. Some people learn best under strict teachers and some from funny teachers.
Also, when a teacher has a passion for something it becomes contagious.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you want someone else to do your work, or do you want empowerment to do it your self?
