Hi! I'm an experienced tutor and Financial Analyst / Accountant with over ten years of accounting/finance and business administration work in both a Fortune 100 company and a federal government cabinet level agency.

Since 2014, I've tutored over 600 hours and 75+ students, helping each to achieve their learning goals. I look forward to the opportunity to do the same with you!

Bachelor's degree Cum Laude in Business Administration, focusing on International Economics and Finance from the Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C.

Master's degree in Accountancy from George Washington University.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from George Washington University.

Active Certified Public Accountant(CPA) license

Active Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification

-----About My Tutoring-----

I'm passionate about helping students learn business topics ranging from accounting to statistics, management to finance. I enjoy teaching these topics to students who don't normally take accounting, finance, or economics courses. Many of my students are in nursing, public policy or other degree programs.

I also have experience and enjoy tutoring the GMAT, ASVAB and GED exams and the Microsoft suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. For these subjects, you'll find my approach to be both thorough and supportive. I won't rush you through topics you don't understand, but won't waste time on things you already know.

I work with you one on one to understand your learning style, goals and timelines. I design a tutoring plan that fits your individual needs and ensure you are supported each step of the way. I'm an encouraging and supportive individual and I look forward to helping you achieve your learning and life goals!

-----My Policies-----

I am extremely generous when it comes to my lessons. If we have an hour session, you will always receive the full 60 minutes, and as many students will attest, I usually run a few minutes over (if you have the time too, of course!)

I'm prompt to my sessions and expect my students to do the same. At the same time I'm flexible and know things come up we can't avoid. I have an 8 hour cancellation policy. Missed sessions are charged at 50% of the agreed upon rate.

For in person tutoring, I only meet in public locations only (e.g. a library, Starbucks, university classrooms). This is for both ease of tutoring (quiet and whiteboards) and comfort for both tutor and student. Please also see my travel policies regarding rates. Due to time it takes to reach students in the D.C. Metro Area, my rate compensates for this. I am happy to switch between in-person and online depending on your needs.
