Hello. My name is Erik. I am originally from Buffalo NY and currently live in Arlington VA. I work in downtown Washington DC for a large trade association. I have a bachelors of science degree in Political Science as well as a masters degree in Public Administration. I also currently hold an TEOSL/TEFL certification. I spent two years as a volunteer tutor for an organization called Journey's End in Buffalo NY an organization that helped immigrants coming into the Buffalo NY area adjust to life in the USA and in Buffalo. I volunteered and was trained as an ESL classroom teacher and ESL private tutor as well as worked as a citizenship tutor as well. I truly love teaching and am now taking on client list of adult students students who are looking for help with ESL, Reading and Writing, or help with their Citizenship tests. I am also open to taking on younger students or college students looking for help with US History, English, or Political Science courses. Feel free to reach out to me I am currently taking students on weekday evenings from 6pm-10pm and on Saturdays from 8am-8pm. I can also schedule early morning times before 8am. On weekdays I am offering online tutoring and on Saturdays face to face most likely at a local library in the DC area. Feel free to call or contact me via this site if you are interested.
