Gabby's Mandarin And Me

I would like to express my interest in the Chinese Teacher position. I currently work as a Chinese Immersion Teacher at Campanelli Elementary School and Jane Addams Junior High School, Schaumburg, Illinois. While earning my Teacher Preparation Certificate, I gained extensive teaching experience in grades 7-9 at George Washington middle school, Alexandra, Virginia. I have over five years of experience as an in-person and virtual Chinese instructor in China and the US. My commitment to teaching and my passion for Chinese and American culture makes me uniquely.

Teaching the Chinese language and culture has been my passion and a life-long career goal. I have excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively convey information to students, parents, and school administration. I have the patience and dedication needed to work with students and maintain an orderly and positive learning environment.

I have had many learning opportunities and success teaching Mandarin in fun and engaging ways. In addition, I have extensive experience using different virtual learning platforms empowering students to learn a new language in a constantly changing environment.
