I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Environmental Biology and am pursing my Masters in Integrative Biology. My expertise is in both Plant Biology and Ecology, but have experience in a number of other courses (Genetics, Anatomy&Physiology, etc).
I used to tutor fellow students in high school and college for fun. Currently am a research assistant at the Univerisity of Kennesaw.

How did you get started teaching?
In the beginning, I helped my friend Sara pass Geometry by staying after school and helping her with what she did not understand during class.

Mainly peers or underclassman
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Most teachers involved in Biology are passionate about what they teach and I advise that you just need to find someone who is able to transfer their excitment into words.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are you having troubles with? Is your problem memorization? Understanding Concepts? If you can pin point where your trouble is then it will be easier for me. If you feel completely lost, then it just means we will need to go through everything and figure out why you feel lost.
