About

I'm a native bilingual English/Spanish speaker, originally from Puerto Rico. I've done volunteer tutoring over the years including all throughout college. As a graduate student, I co-managed Temple University's Partnership Schools' Gear Up program where I oversaw tutoring program in 8 different public schools, supervised recruitment, hiring, orientation, and placement of undergraduate students hired to tutor. I can be most helpful with Spanish/English and reading/writing/literature, and social sciences. I'm happy to also be available for full immersion conversation practice for those interested in practicing their Spanish or English/bilingual conversational skills.

I love working one-on-one with people and appreciate that everyone learns differently and at different paces. I enjoy establishing a connection and relationship with a student and together experience the joys and journey of learning.
