About
I am devoted to seeing my students succeed. I will spend hours helping someone if that's what it takes. By the end of our lession, my goal is to make sure you understand your homework and recieve an A in your class.
I love helping others. The highlight of my day is when my students understand their homework and pass their test. I love knowing that my students are one step closer to achieving their goal.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want first guage my student's understanding of the subject. To do so, we'll either work out example problems or I'll ask them what they do and don't understand. From there, we'll fine tune those skills so they can complete their homework and understand what they are doing in the classroom. The best way to prove that you understand something is to explain it to someone else so at the end of the lesson I'll have the student explain in detail what they learned, if they can't do that then we'll keep practicing until I know for sure they know what they are doing.
How did you get started teaching?
I have two younger siblings that I constantly help with their homework. My love of teaching them is what made me decided to help others who are struggling.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
As a computer science major I am constantly programming and working various fun projects. Computer science allows me to be creative and I love to share my passion with others. While I was in high school I volunteered for the Computer Science Education Week at Mary Matula Elementary School. The Hour of Code introduced elementary students to computer science using drag-and-drop programming on Code.org. I enjoyed introducing students to the fundamental building block of computer science. I encouraged them to continue practicing after the Hour of Code was completed.
