About Me
Hi, I’m Munyaradzi but you call me Innocent
I’ve been in business as an ESL tutor for *3 years*, and I’ve helped over *80 students* from South Africa, Brazil, China, and Europe improve their English for work, school, and everyday life.
*My background:*
I have a *Bachelor’s Degree in Communications* and a *120-hour TEFL Certificate*. Before tutoring full-time, I worked in customer service, so I know exactly how important clear English is in the real world.
*What it’s like working with me:*
My classes are relaxed, practical, and 100% about YOU. No boring grammar lectures. We’ll talk about topics you actually care about - job interviews, travel, movies, business emails - and I’ll gently correct you so you sound more natural. Expect lots of speaking, real-life roleplays, and homework that takes 10 minutes max. I’m patient, I celebrate small wins, and I’ll never make you feel embarrassed for mistakes. Mistakes = how we learn.
*What I love about my work:*
I love that “aha!” moment when a student finally uses a new phrase correctly in conversation. Seeing someone go from shy to confident in English is the best part of my job.
*What makes my business stand out:*
1. *Goal-based lessons*: We don’t use random textbooks. We build lessons around your job, your exams, or your daily life
2. *Special method - "Talk First, Grammar Later"*: We speak first, then I pull out the 1-2 grammar rules that will fix 80% of your mistakes
3. *Fast feedback*: You get notes + vocab list after every class so you don’t forget what we learned
*Special skills:*
- *Business + Interview English* - I help students prep for jobs in SA and abroad
- *Pronunciation coaching* - I’m trained in clearing up “th, r/l, v/w” sounds
- *Kids & Adults* - I use games for kids 6-12 and real conversations for teens/adults
*Bottom line: I’ll do an excellent job because* I don’t just teach English. I teach you how to _use_ English to get the job, pass the test, or feel confident talking to anyone. And I’m with you every step of the way.
Can’t wait to meet you!
