I am an elementary school teacher working with high risk students. I am passionate about helping my students get to be where they need to be and watching their progress on a daily basis. I focus on differientiated instruction and time tested routines with phonics and reading fluency. I have educating students for 30 years and have worked with students with special needs and English Language Learners. I am a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner that specializes in teaching phonics skills to struggling readers. I have been tutoring individuals since 2021. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education along with a Master's degree in Education. I'm a full-time special education teacher and have taught for 13 years. Since I teach during the day, I only have time to tutor in the evenings and weekends. I specialize in grades 2-6, but can work with older or younger learners as well.
