I am a high school student with years of experience helping peers and children. Most curriculum is fresh in my mind and if not I am a day learner. I have a 3.8 GPA and love to learn new things. I have spent lots of time teaching and helping children with school work and normal tasks. I love to get to know each student personally and help them as much as I can

I am an English teacher and also certified as a reading diagnostician. I have 28 years of experience in secondary education, including 10+ years with adult learners at community colleges. Students appreciate that I am very knowledgeable in identifying the areas where we need to focus and the creative techniques I use so they not only quickly see improvement but enjoy the learning process. I find it very rewarding to see students reach their goals and grow in confidence about themselves.

I love being able to bring both my enthusiasm and experience to the table. Passing on what I've learned from my own tutors is my commitment. I thought it made me so happy to finally get something that was so difficult for me to understand. I've found that it's even better from the other side. It's so satisfying navigating students through a concept that they've struggled with and come out hyped that they got it.

I am a mom to three kids and I am currently homeschooling my oldest. I truly believe that each child has their own unique way of learning. Once we discover their way of understanding they become unstoppable! I’m currently open to tutoring Elementary aged students.

My passion is in expression. I'm a writer, poet, professional actor, and playwright. I will help you find your passion in the subject, because it's there somewhere inside of you
