Remarkable Readers/Writers
About
Between teaching elementary school, raising seven children, working in early childcare, and tutoring children in reading for the past three years... I have gained in-depth knowledge about the process of reading and writing in children. Also, I was recently under contact to write 38 new children's readers for a company called Reading Horizons in Kaysville, Utah. In 2013 I published a children's chapter book called, "Shanna Banana Shines". I am extremely passionate about teaching reading and writing to children. These are some of the most essential skills we all need to have to succeed in this world!
Children have always inspired me! I love their natural curiosity, imaginations, and enthusiasm to learn about the World around them. I have innate strengths to help guide them in their learning processes and make it fun along the way. I love to teach to all learning styles and have a game-based approach. The kid in me never tires of playing and learning alongside my students.
