I love math, and I love that it's everywhere (even in the VANS logo ;)) I've tutored math since college, got my degree in math/stats education from Utah State University with a GPA of 3.92.

I taught formally at a high school for 6 years (everything from Math 3 to AP BC Calculus to CE Statistics). During my time teaching in Ogden at a Title I school, my AP Calc program tripled in size and we increased the pass rate to 90% (well above the national and Utah averages). I am so proud of them!

I quit teaching formally in order to be a tour guide in Alaska and pursue more education. I'm so happy to be tutoring in between things right now. I think education can be such a powerful tool in your life - math is for everyone - and while you may have had some difficult experiences in the past I'm confident that I can help you find success and hate math just a little less!
