I have a passion for teaching middle and high school students. I am a certified teacher with over 7 years of experience in Houston, Texas. I am a highly qualified and energetic Special Educator that specializes in the differentiation of English curriculum. This means that I have taught engaging curriculum in many ways to meet the specific needs of my students. I have had to create my own lessons since day one, so this has helped me develop my own student-centered teaching style.
I have experience working with students that have neurological differences, social challenges, and learning differences. I enjoy working with students to organize their thoughts and work on their executive functioning skills.

I love watching my students "get it" with an aha moment. It is very important to me that I connect well with my students and motivate them to continue learning. I enjoy using my passionate energy, teaching style, and expertise to help students pursue their studies and organize their thoughts for their own success.
