All Around Tutoring
About
I've always loved teaching. I make it fun, I get creative and there will hopefully never be a boring day with me as a teacher.
I love helping someone gain knowledge. Learning is so important and we keep what we learn for the rest of our lives. It never really goes away. So being able to help someone better learn a subject their struggling with is really cool.
I am in my second year of college. And believe me, it's hard. But I continue to go because I love learning and want to become a teacher. I got a 4.0 in high school and I have a 3.7 in college. I also have access to khan academy and have recent experience teaching young kids because I have a niece who I've tutored.
If you give me this opportunity, I will make it worth your while.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I get to know them, and tell them about myself. I think it's important to get to know who you're teaching in order to be more effective. I try to make things fun and base my teaching off of how they learn best. I am willing to try new things in order to get the best outcome.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am almost done with my associates at Weber State. I graduated from Box Elder High School with honors and got a 31 on my ACT. I'm planning on working toward my Ph.D. and I love math, English, history, and music in particular. I am familiar with teaching because I teach swim lessons and I also have lots of experience with teaching children to read and write.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I think that $30 an hour is reasonable for my experience.
How did you get started teaching?
I've loved teaching people since I was really little. I remember explaining everything I'd learned at school to my stuffed animals and to my friend in the grade below me. I also have been a peer tutor to disabled students in my school for 3 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with little children, disabled students, and my own peers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love swimming. I am on the varsity swim team at Box Elder High School. I also love singing, so I'm in Madrigals.
