Nathan Maxfield
About
Hello! My name is Nathan Maxfield. I am currently a student in ASU's History M.A. program. I graduated from BYU in 2022 with a B.A. in History and minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies. I have four years of experience teaching and tutoring history, Spanish, English, test prep, and writing, including two years of experience as a full time classroom instructor.
I am extremely passionate about all the subjects I tutor, which is why I am working towards a career as a professor of history - where literature, culture, and language meet. I aim for my students to go beyond just academic success and discover a similar passion in themselves.

I have been tutoring history professionally since I was a senior in high school and am currently a Junior at Brigham Young University with a History major.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not currently have a standard pricing system for my lessons. Pricing will be conditional on driving distance as well as length and frequency of tutoring sessions. Contact me if you would like to discuss pricing, I am very open to negotiation.
