Hello! My name is Nathan Maxfield. I am currently a student in ASU's History M.A. program. I graduated from BYU in 2022 with a B.A. in History and minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies. I have four years of experience teaching and tutoring history, Spanish, English, test prep, and writing, including two years of experience as a full time classroom instructor. I am extremely passionate about all the subjects I tutor, which is why I am working towards a career as a professor of history - where literature, culture, and language meet. I am from Bakersfield California, 20 years old, and currently a Sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering at BYU Provo. I earned a 4.5 GPA, took 7 AP classes, and earned over 50 college credits. Throughout this, I developed strong math, science, and computer skills. I served a two-year mission in Peru and am certified bilingual in Spanish and English.
