About
I am currently unavailable until January of 2022
I have been involved in honors and Advanced Placement classes since my freshman year and have recently graduated Combs High School as a co-salutatorian. This fall, I will be attending Brigham Young University-Provo where I’ll be studying English Secondary Education. I have always loved reading and writing and hope to share that passion as a tutor and a teacher. My current tutoring experience includes editing my peers’ papers and helping younger sibling (ages 11 and 14) with reading projects and writing assignments. I'm also the founder of Comb’s College Prep Club where I assisted students with college application essays and ACT test taking strategies. My highest overall ACT score is a 28 and I scored a perfect 36 on the reading portion. I also received 5’s on both the AP Language and AP United States History exams. As a teen tutor, I’ll be able to make topics engaging and relevant for a younger audience which will help students improve and develop a love of learning.
