Patrick Murphy Ray

My name is Patrick, and I am a 23yr old student at UVU. Although I am new to official tutoring, I have tutored family, friends and their children in the past. I greatly enjoy the process of helping others learn, and sharing my own tips that help me learn.

I specialize in middle to high school subjects, but I am open to working with K-6 students as well! My strongest subjects are Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and any science subject needed -- though I do enjoy tutoring Astronomy, Geology, and Physics most.

I know myself to be friendly and patient, as well as open minded, and understanding. My biggest priority is to help you or your child not only learn how to do the subject material, but also to truly understand it. I want to make sure that the learning is done with a genuine passion and interest in the subject, rather than only for the A+ on the test.

Although I may not have any certifications or awards, I have the drive and passion to share and teach what I know and love. I make certain I know the material inside out, upside down, and backwards, before I consider any tutoring job.

If you'd like to know a bit about me personally, keep reading! I enjoy the outdoors and getting into nature, and camping will always get a yes from me. I like to draw and paint digitally, but a physical sketchbook is never far away. I also enjoy gaming, music, classic Hollywood, and everything outer space!
