I'm Yara, I am a medical doctor with a strong passion for teaching English, Biology, and Medicine subjects. I geek on oncology research and I have worked as a research tutor for a year guiding students through study design, data interpretation, and scientific writing, with a focus on helping them understand concepts rather than just memorizing facts. I also have experience tutoring children age from 4-10 as a volunteer in Turkey, where I experienced teaching kids English as a second language, how to handle and understand learning styles according to whom I'm tutoring. My experience with kids was further reinforced with baby sitting experience.

As a tutor, I am calm, empathetic, and highly patient. I understand that every learner starts from a different place, so I always tailor my approach and study plans to each individual’s level, goals, and learning style. I care about constant follow-ups, identifying weak areas and focusing on them. Whether you need help with basic biology, advanced medical concepts, English whether writing, speaking, listening and reading, or clinical research skills, my goal is to make complex topics clear, manageable, and—most importantly—less stressful and fun ( at least for the kids! :))
