I am a biomedical engineer with a passion for math and teaching! I know how difficult math can seem but I am convinced anyone can be an expert.
My philosophy is critical thinking and logic (not memorization). These are the skills that will help my students excel in their mathematical endeavours.
I love seeing the light bulb go off when I see my students understand for the first time! But what I love even more is seeing them master that same thing after several iterations.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with new students I start by gauging what level they are at. I then begin to build off of their current knowledge by adding more detail. I like to allow students to think for themselves so that they are prepared after of the tutoring session.
