About
As a Food Science and Nutrition Major at Texas Woman's University, I find all things science extremely interesting. Especially medical science. From memorizing Anatomy & Physiology terms, to understanding the complex equations of physics, I can help foster a good understanding of the topic. Additionally, writing, presenting and public speaking are great skills to obtain when transitioning through high school & college. And as someone who has completed many corporate presentations, I can offer easy tips and tricks that will blow your audience away.
For my younger students, I enjoy the creative nature learning has to offer, from story telling, to crafts. The basics of learning stem from a prosperous elementary education. Teaching 4th grade math and science, showed me all the divers thinking & learning patterns children exhibit. I can can ensure I help figure out which is the most efficient way for them personally to learn, and then cultivate & transition that into independent learning.
Lastly, I have coached gymnastics for 10 years, ages ranging from 2-18, boys and girls of all backgrounds and disabilities. Activity is not only important for physical growth, but mental as well, as children learn to navigate team work, independence and understanding foreign tasks assigned.
