Hello, my name is Teacher Monique Layzell, and I am an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. Originally from the United States, I spent several years living and attending college in England before returning to America. With TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certifications, I have been teaching ESL for seven years. My experience spans a diverse age range, teaching students from 4 to 65 years old in subjects such as Phonics, Reading, and Conversational Courses.
Teaching Philosophy
I am deeply committed to teaching English as a Second Language online, particularly to children from various backgrounds. My passion for education is fueled by the opportunity to help young learners acquire essential language skills that will contribute to their future success. Witnessing their progress and the joy they experience when expressing themselves in English is incredibly rewarding.
