I am a Political Science major who is also a substitute teacher. I am passionate not only about teaching and seeing my students succeed, but also about the American government and all of the history that has lead us to where we are today. I teach in the high school environment and am able to involve students in order to teach the concepts that enrich their knowledge of the subject matter. I enjoy not only getting to know the student but also seeing them grow. Seeing their progression in a subject matter and the flash of understanding gives me great joy....

I have been tutoring for 20+ years and have experience in all subjects, levels and grades. I teach students in private, public and homeschool needs. I will find your learning style method and structure our lessons around that. I make our sessions positive, motivational and fun, while getting the concepts mastered. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish.

As a current college senior with 5+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.

I'm a former high school teacher, retired U.S. Army broadcast journalist and now, an actor and voiceover artist. I've traveled around North America, Central America, Europe and the Middle East. I've lived in five countries and in ten U.S.states. I bring all of those experiences with me when I teach or tutor, but, more importantly, I bring my love of education and my love of people and belief that every student can succeed and deserves every chance to do so. I can hardly wait to see how I can and will help students I have yet to meet.
