Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Well starting off, we try to first get to know the student and what is their preferred way of learning so they can comprehend the material better. We then try to use that learning technique partnered with some fun because we do know that a certain period of learning can be boring if you don't have something to make it interesting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a student that has been tutoring for about 7 years but only revelry decided to start a business out of it. I have been tutoring my peers and students in general for as long as I can remember.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
we do not have a standard pricing system due to the fact that everyone has different ranges of affordability. Due to this we usually negotiate out a price that will work for both the tutor and the student/parent. Type of course and amount of work from the course are variables in pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring by simply just helping my classmates that weren't understanding the material and just needed a tad bit of help to understand. I would schedule sessions after school to tutor my peers and other students for them to get the best understanding of the material and to excel in the class.
What types of students have you worked with?
In my seven years of teaching I have worked with many students including students with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia. I have also taught students from ages between four and twenty-four. Due to this huge range, I have gotten to experience a lot of teaching styles and ways for the student to understand the material the best way possible.
