What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I take on students as a mentor and help with not only test taking and learning but also college and career planning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a recent Duke University Economics graduate who scored 2330 on the SAT and have helped dozens of students raise their SAT scores by 200+ points over the last seven years. I have show the same noticeable improvement for ACT tests. I have multiple experiences tutoring middle school and high school students in math, writing and science and Duke students in economics and chemistry. In addition, I have experience preparing students to do their best on college applications and essays.

My rates are competitive; the fee is less if you come to my home in Cinco Ranch, or the local library or cafe. References are available.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring since middle school and have done so all throughout high school, college and post-grad. I also currently work in education as a strategist.

I helped a girl improve her SAT score 300 points to 1500+, allowing her to gain admission into Florida's Bright Futures program as a Florida Academic Scholars, meaning she was able to have 100% of her tuition for Florida Public Schools covered.
