Hi! I am an High School Functional English teacher with over 15 years experience in Education! I primarily have worked with students with intellectual disabilities, Autism, students with dyslexia and dyscalculia from the ages of 4-18. My biggest strength I offer is that am comfortable with differentiating and modifying grade level work for students who need extra support in all classroom environments from Science and Math to ELA and Social Studies! I accommodate all student learning needs by scaffolding school work so students understand the concept while also having fun! I have EC-6 Certification and Special Education EC-12 Certification as well as ESL and Science of Teaching Reading Endorsements in Texas. I am comfortable with all age groups but feel like Late Elementary, Middle School and Junior High are my strengths in content knowledge!! If your child is struggling with reading comprehension and decoding skills or math skills in these age groups I have many tools and resources to help them feel confident in their abilities in the classroom!!
