Tutoring With Ms Beth

I like to get to know my students on a personal level, I think it’s important to giggle and be comfortable with each other. For students with a learning, difficulty, reading and especially writing can be very nerve-racking when you’re first beginning.

I pray for each of my students before they come, and I pray for wisdom so that I know how to help them. That along with my reading specialization from Baylor, it makes me the perfect fit for caring about your child and their needs, and when your kids feel comfortable, it’s amazing how well they will perform for you! I love seeing that. My kids want to work hard for me, especially because I’m in a wheelchair and they see how hard I work. Teaching them how to become intrinsically rewarded, is so exciting to watch.

I started teaching 20 years ago, and I still have relationships from my students way back then. They love to brag and tell me how far they went in school and what their careers are. What a blessing it is to me. They still reach out to me.
