Professional Tutoring In Math, English, And Writing

Hi, My name is Seetha. Professionally, I am a School Psychologist but my ultimate love is teaching. As a tutor, I enjoy making a genuine difference in the lives of students who have the potential to succeed in school, but just need that individualized attention to boost their level of understanding in subjects, level of comfort in subjects, and their level of concentration/ focus. I have six years of tutoring experience, working with students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 9th grade. In addition, I have special experience working with a range of students including those with Learning Disabilities such as Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, and ADHD. My teaching methods emphasize successful tutor-student communication in which my pupils have a voice and presence in their learning environment. I focus on forming a strong, trusting relationship with my pupils, not only to tutor them but also to act as a mentor to influence their self-motivation and desire to learn. I integrate technology into my tutoring sessions to actively engage the learning of my students as well as educational programmes to conduct formative evaluations that are enjoyable to my pupils.
