Senior college student who is willing to help any middle school/ highschool/ college students that are struggling with Math or Computer Science subjects and want to pass their classes with good grades. Lessons will be student-friendly and easy to understand since they are provided by a college student who does have a lot of tutoring experience before.

My way of teaching is closer to students than what they get from their professors at school. I make sure students understand what the objective of the learning is. The key is to understand and be able to deliver what a student needs and wants from tutoring.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Most important thing is to talk to the student and try to understand what problem they are struggling with.
Make sure to provide lessons that are easiest to understand and try to give them the best experience when learning.
Help students in general improvement or any specific topics that they want to focus on for every session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently a senior at the University of Houston, thus having a good understanding of what lower grade students need and what they want to achieve.
Started learning to code/program since 7th grade. Hence having a solid knowledge in teaching students who are completely new to Computer Science subjects.

How did you get started teaching?
Started the same level as all other students with higher self-esteem, developed a good knowledge background in science courses, thus began teaching other students within the same grade to cultivate tutoring skills.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a tutor that you can treat you as a friend and can share whatever you're struggling with. Key is to learn from them, not to hire them!
