About
As a certified ESL English Language Arts Reading and Writing teacher in Texas and Kentucky, it has been a joy to serve students. Throughout my careers, I've spent a significant amount of time creating resources to improve the needs of individual students all subjects I teach.
I realized teachers and students have very limited resources that show how to successfully compose or write an essay. This motivated me to create resources for my students to use that would drive academic success and produce better state test score results. After using my resources, my students significantly improved their overall writing scores on state testing, so much so that they scored the exact same numbers as higher-level class one year. Their essays stood out and captured the attention of any audience. From year to year, I saw more and more growth as I created more efficient and effective resources. From teaching whole grade level seminar to teaching small groups, I’ve helped make result-oriented changes. I've learned to create tailored notes, assignments, study guides, exit tickets, and homework that meet the needs of each student, yet is aligned to the curriculum and standards
I enjoy being able to help students overcome obstacles in education.
