About
I have over 3 years of experience as a tutor and have been consistently tutoring students of various ages in math and science. In addition to using quantitative data, such as grades and test score, I also use qualitative data such as feedback from students and parents as a metric of how well I'm doing as a tutor. It is my priority to ensure that every student I tutor receives the highest quality tutoring I can provide.
I do this through a number of methods. I cater my teaching to student's specific strengths and weaknesses so they can learn in ways that suit them best. This enables students to receive personalized education, which is hard to get in large classroom environments. In my sessions, I use tools like flashcards, practice worksheets and video materials to make lessons more engaging and fun.
I can accommodate all types of students- visual and auditory learners, individuals with learning disabilities, etc. Patience is my greatest strength! I am also receptive to feedback and am flexible in my methods of teaching.
Tutoring is my passion because it is so satisfying to see students improve in their abilities and confidence with effort and time. I am happy to meet with you and your child(ren) to see if it would be a good fit. Feel free to reach out with questions!
