Spanish Tutoring
About
Born in Mexico, Spanish is my first language. I moved to the U.S. and learned the official language but my native language remained more alive than ever before. Until today I communicate with my family in Spanish and it really helped me navigate the new culture when I moved to California and started high school. In high school I took AP Spanish language and passed the examination with an A. In reality I speak both languages and being bilingual really gives you an advantage.
I graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelors in biological sciences. I love biology and I also love Spanish.
I really enjoy helping students learn Spanish because I know the importance of being bilingual and how that can potentially benefit the student in the future. Nowadays I see more and more business focusing on people who speak a second language. I have the skills and the patience to help students learn the language at their own pace and also help them achieve their goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is to analyze the student level of Spanish and map the areas that need to improve. This can be done by direct questions that would determine the level of comfort with the language but also the level of understanding. This process is not to intimidate the student but rather to fasten the level of interaction needed to better help the student.
