I am a student myself who loves working with people and helping people. I love helping my classmates and other students in different grades and levels of math. I can work with anyone who needs help with math up to geometry and below. I am the top student in my grade for math with a GPA of 4.5 in the class. I have been invited each year to NJHS since 7th grade. I receive the highest grade for math assessments each quarter during my school year which has given me an award of the Top 5 Math Assessment scores in my grade. I love working with kids and helping them better their understanding of math.
I love math. I love helping kids with math because it is something i enjoy teaching. I love watching them grow in their math skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to have a meeting with them to get to know them. We would discuss what they are having trouble with. Then we would come up with a plan and schedule to better their understanding of their area of struggle.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored students from 1st grade up to students learning geometry. I have helped each of them understand in a way that they will never forget.

My pricing is usually $25/hour. We can discuss the price if we need to.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching my little sister when she was struggling with math. We figured out what she was doing wrong together and since then she has fallen in love with math and understands everything very clearly now.

I have worked with students from 1st grade to students learning Geometry.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of taking my math exam at school and scoring well on it using strategies i taught myself and my teacher also taught me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell them that i am a student myself who attends school so i know how school math is and the best strategies to perform well in math at school. I "have been in their shoes" not too long ago
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should ask if they can help them in such a way that they will not forget the next day.
