About
Our students become confident in math after 4-5 sessions. Their parents see the difference in performance immediately.
We love to see the lightbulb turn on when understanding of a math concept is achieved. We live for those "ah ha" moments.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first work on their present homework to assess their level of competency. Then we show the student the best way to approach solving problems. Finally, we drill the student on using the learned methodology until mastery.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training and tutoring for more than 25 years with great success. My students learn to learn in sessions with me. This makes them better all around students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is per 1.5 hour session. The rate is $60.
How did you get started teaching?
I taught an economics course at a charter high school. The student responses in that course made me realize that teaching is my calling.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with the top students at Giddings high school as well as students who were on the bubble of graduating at American Youthworks charter high school. I am able to work with any student no matter their level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I ran into a group of students I worked with to pass the math portion of the state test to graduate and they treated me like a rockstar because I helped them graduate! The feeling was better than a pound of gold.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are comfortable and open to learning from whomever they select.
