What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If I am tutoringa student currently enrolled in a class, I assess what they know, where they are struggling, and make a plan. If I am teaching new information or filling in areas where a student is missing past learning, I work on those areas specifically; although often, those areas overlap.

$50.00 an hour for most tutoring
If I have to do extensive prep work, $60 to $75 an hour
How did you get started teaching?
After years as a stay-at-home mom and small town newspaper pulisher (as well as various jobs working for my husband), I went back to school to become a teacher. I love working with students, especially students who are not traditional learners.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with duslexic students, regular ed students, as well as ADHD. Each presents unique opportunities for successs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy my family, my dogs, and cooking.
