Jaden Bouguyon Tutoring
About
I aim to guide students through solving problems on their own terms. I am dedicated to helping people make connections between concepts that result in confidence in solving problems and a deeper understanding of the material.
I love helping others realize their full potential and gain confidence in themselves. I love helping students with school skills that can translate to life skills as well.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I will want to speak with the student to see what their goals are for the semester/course and what they would like my help with. I then will adjust my tutoring approach based on where they are with their understanding of the material and their confidence level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a youth leader in the Boy Scouts of America organization, I had years of training with teaching and leading other teenagers. I use those skills and my experience in education to be the best tutor I can be.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $40 per hour, and work in one-hour or two-hour sessions (depending on the client's wishes). I do, however, understand financial needs and I want to make sure tutoring is accessible to those who want it.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching for as long as I can remember, though never in a formal role. I have had a passion for helping my peers throughout school and mentoring younger students to excel in their classes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in middle school, high school, and college. I have experience with college-level tutoring, but I do feel comfortable working with younger grades as well.
