Carrie Van Balen

I have been tutoring for over 30 years since I was in high school and volunteered at the Boys Club Reading and Phonics Program. I am a NYIT graduate, have infinite patience and a great sense of humor.

English Literature, Reading, Vocabulary, and Phonics are my favorite subjects, but I have also tutored Math, Science, History, ESL, Sociology, and Accounting. I am passionate about finding how each client learns best and designing custom lessons to help each of my sudents reach their goals.
