I'm a full time deloper for the past 10 years. I've done mostly firmware development in C and C++ on RTOS or baremetal systems. I am currently exploring full stack but am by no means proficient in it. I create Python scripts when needed and can do OOP in Python as well, though I've never had to for my job.
I'm always willing to help answer questions or generaly help debug a homework assignment.
Rates are negotiable with family income, veteran status, and first responder status taken into account.
I love helping people breakdown the mystique of software engineering and computer science. The problem solving is fun and helping people have that "Ah ha!" moment is what makes tutoring worth it.
Base price starts at $75/hr.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Contact via email then we can set up a Teams meeting if neccessary. Have a full description of the problem to solve is required if it's homework. I keep clients up-to-date with texts as required. There is no judgment here which means there are no stupid quetions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have quite of few years experience tutoring and teaching. I work in the industry as a Software Engineer in Austin, TX area. I have my B.S. from Washington State University, WA. I formed TutorCougs in 2014 to help students through the first two semester of Computer Science classes. I specialize in new to the field or first year assignements.
