Foundational Reading & Dyslexia Tutoring

Greetings!

I am an enthusiastic instructor of all things READING with 14 years experience in public education in grades 1-8 and prior to that I facilitated a homeschool coop for 40+ families for 15 years. I am currently working with special needs students on the autism spectrum as well as providing intervention for dyslexic students.

My approach begins with determining where the student is currently at and then providing targeted, prescriptive sessions tailored to that student. I believe in creating a foundation in phonics and progressively building confidence from 'learning to read' to 'reading to learn' using the essential elements of the Science of Reading.
