What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get a feel of where they are with the materials from their previous grade. I build on that knowledge and introduce new concepts and thought process on solving a mathematics problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Alumni of the University of MI. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in African American Studies. I am in my 9th year of coaching students in Algebra.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Have an open mind when meeting someone for the first time. Listen for their convictions on issues that are important to them. Determine if you're spirit agrees with the person
