I really enjoy engaging with students and guiding them on how to approach and solve problems. My end goal is to be able to make the student comfortable facing problems they have never seen before.
I enjoy interacting with students and understanding why they approach problems a certain way. Therefore, my teaching methods are informal and very conversational.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to gauge where the student is at in their subject. After that, I refresh myself (if necessary) on their current struggles. During tutoring sessions I like to keep it informal and casual. I also like to teach the student how to approach problems that they are unsure about to better equip them in the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was previously a teaching assistant for a programming class in my undergraduate degree. Additionally, I am currently making projects and assignments for that same class.
