Dedicated and results-oriented educator with 20+ years of experience, starting after a 1995 BA in Technical Education. Tutored grades 3-5 after immigrating to the US in 2000 and earned an Associate's in Early Childhood Education. Passionate about English and the Science of Reading, with a proven track record including a 90% standardized test passing rate and reading commendations. For instance, a 4th grader's reading level increased by two grades in six months through targeted phonics, guided reading, and vocabulary work.
