I currently possess two associate degrees, accounting and business management, and a paralegal certification. I am enrolled now pursing a bachelors degree. I love math! Math has always been my favorite subject since elementary school. I have been tutoring different subjects under math on several different levels for the past few years.
I enjoy using my experience, knowledge, and talent to help others learn. I am very patient and have several different teaching styles and techniques in order to adapt and work with each individual's learning ability. I am very hands-on. I incoporate visuals and powerpoints to help with the explanations of my lessons. Also, i create mini quizzes that I assist with during each session to establish the comprehension of the material.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get some basic information to establish their learning style. I need to know what subject they need help with. Also, I need to know what they already have learned and understand. Then I can start preparing my lessons to assist.
