Hi! My name is Carlota, and I'm currently a Pre-Med student at UTRGV. I am also a pilates instructor! I really enjoy helping kids learn and feel more confident in school! I’ve worked at a tutoring center here in McAllen where I helped students from kindergarten through high school, so I’m used to explaining things in different ways until they click. I’m strongest in English, history, and social studies, but I’m pretty well-rounded and always willing to help with other subjects too! My lessons are relaxed and supportive, usually starting with what the student is struggling with, then practicing together step by step. What sets me apart is my patience, flexibility, and focus on helping students actually understand the material and not just memorize it!
