Math And Science Education
About
I have taught Physics, Mathematical physics in College and Universities for 33 years. I have also taught math, physical science in a Junior high school. I help students learn these subjects with a unique teaching style that enables even very weak students getting motivated to learn, encouraged to improve grades. My methods enable then to build self confidence in aquiring the concepts and in applying them to solve easy to very hard problems. This method consists of first describing the concepts with examples, solving problems by asking the student, the answers of which leads to the next answers. I enourage students to ask questions, the answers of which are sometimes given directly and sometimes by asking them questions. They quickly grasp the concepts and are soon on their own in solving problems. When I see that they have grasped the concepts and are solving problems without my assistance then I feel happy and rewarded. I always feel that the students are the building block of our future country that would treak on cutting edge of most advanced science and technology. We as tutor should prepare them well to meet the future challenges.
Part of it I have answered above. That I can help even a very weak student (who does not have the required backgrounds and concepts) to improve their academic performance fast enough gives me the most joy. I am a scientist and a researcher. I enjoy inventing new technologies. Some of which are patented and some will be patented. I am expecting that my invention will provide one day the most "cost-effective technology" for solving global warming- climate change mitigation. The discovery of new technology gives me highest joy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I get a new student I try to find out his/her background about the topic/subject that he/she is interested to learn from me. I so that first by listening to the student and then asking questions- do you know this? What is the answer of this? etc. I then develop a plan to build his concepts, solving problems with good guidance, solving problems with hints, solving problems on his won without any hints and guidance. I encourage the student to always ask questions, interrupting me any time. I often answer their questions by asking them questions, the answers of which lead to the answer they seeking. This improves their processes of thinking and seeing the how to get the solution of the problem. I have seen that this style soon builds their self confidence and problem solving skill. This improves their performance. One student the other day wrote me after tutoring (90 minutes) that he scored 96 over 100 which he did not expect before my tutoring.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have BS, MS and Ph.D degrees in Physics. I have over 33 years of teaching experiences in college and University as a Professor of Physics and in a high school as a Math and physical science teacher.
