I am a native Spanish speaker and have been teaching Spanish for 27 years. I just retired. I received my Spanish degree at ETBU and have a Masters Bilingual education from SMU. I have taught Spanish to students of various ages and experience levels. I have a curriculum available varying from elementary school Spanish to college-level Spanish courses. I can help anyone who is struggling with their Spanish courses, preparing for CLEP or AP test, or someone just wanting to be more proficient in conversational Spanish. I can also help any professionals looking to learn Spanish terminology relevant to their field ( legal terms, medical etc. )
I try to teach in a fun, structure and easy way. Grammar can be difficult but I always try to explain it with logic comparing and contrasting it to the English grammar. I notice how my students improve and understand what are they doing.
I love to see the improvement of my students. I love how they can use the language independently! I love the ahas moments!
