What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I introduce myself and let them tell me what they are interested in as far as hobbies etc. Then we begin to work together to help the student learn to read and using games and songs to help them learn how to sound out a word they might not know. Our main goal is to instill confidence in the student that once he or she finish the tutoring sessions they will be able to pick up any book and read it fluently!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA and I taught 18 years as an elementary teacher!

I charge 50.00 an hour.
